Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

While on a quest to photograph Sandhill Cranes at Sandy Ridge Reservation in North Ridgeville, OH., I came upon this tufted titmouse enjoying the feeder. When I got home to review the photos a couple of things struck me, his stare, I usually pinpoint the focus of the camera on the animals eye, but with such a small animal, I have to use a larger focus range. Second, his ability to hang on to the feeder! And third, woo hoo, I did succeed to time it as I was hoping and do have him just after capturing some food with his beak. I was also pleasantly surprised to see how warm the background came out! Even though digital allows us to see the photos right away, it is not until you can see them on your computer that you truly understand what has been accomplished.

It is my aim and desire through photography to bring glory to God. The journey that brought me here started with a Canon AE-1, my first "real" camera. Prior to that I was using instamatics from Kodak and any other camera I was able to get my hands on. I had taken the AE-1 from my Dad after seeing some pictures he had taken. My parents encouraged this new hobby by enrolling me, while I was still in High School, in a college photography course. That Christmas they bought me a new Canon AE-1P, this time it was programmable! This led to majoring in photography at Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
