A Winter Scene in Austria. A friend and I had a chance to visit Salzburg, Austria. During that trip we took a drive out to a tobogganing sight, I highly recommend trying that if you are ever near the Alps. Winding down the hills on a toboggan is unforgettable fun. On the way back from our tobogganing adventure, we saw this beautiful winter scene. This is one of the joys of photography, being able to capture a moment forever.
It is my aim and desire through photography to bring glory to God. The journey that brought me here started with a Canon AE-1, my first "real" camera. Prior to that I was using instamatics from Kodak and any other camera I was able to get my hands on. I had taken the AE-1 from my Dad after seeing some pictures he had taken. My parents encouraged this new hobby by enrolling me, while I was still in High School, in a college photography course. That Christmas they bought me a new Canon AE-1P, this time it was programmable! This led to majoring in photography at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I started out in Photojournalism, but soon realized I was drawn more to the artistic aspects of photography. After University I was able to...
