Artist's Description
I like to call this little guy Rocky, named after a famous eastern fox squirrel that ruled over the smaller grey squirrels where I went to University. As the sun started to set Rocky continued to work on opening up the black walnut for dinner. What amazes me about Nature is the intricate detail that God put into it. The fur, the clarity of the eyes on an animal, the whiskers, the feet and hands (paws), and the variety of color the fur has.

It is my aim and desire through photography to bring glory to God. The journey that brought me here started with a Canon AE-1, my first "real" camera. Prior to that I was using instamatics from Kodak and any other camera I was able to get my hands on. I had taken the AE-1 from my Dad after seeing some pictures he had taken. My parents encouraged this new hobby by enrolling me, while I was still in High School, in a college photography course. That Christmas they bought me a new Canon AE-1P, this time it was programmable! This led to majoring in photography at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I started out in Photojournalism, but soon realized I was drawn more to the artistic aspects of photography. After University I was able to...
