This photo is from my 2023 devotional Calendar, the following is what inspired this picture: November is one of my favorite months of the year; the air is brisk, the sunsets are glorious, AND it is the month we celebrate Thanksgiving! However, as many of us know, it is also the beginning of a very stressful season. The abundance of activities, trips, and plans can overwhelm me and shift my focus away from the truths God has taught me throughout the year. What a great time for me to practice “thirsting after God!” I may not be the best example of this, but I am daily learning to turn stress into thankfulness. The whole of Psalm 100 is a great song for me to sing to the Lord when I am overwhelmed. (photo taken at Headwaters Park; Huntsburg, OH)
