As I sat looking out over the Vierwaldstättersee in Fronalpstock near Stoos, Switzerland, I was struck by the quiet and peace that surrounded me. It was a little refuge from the world, a true moment alone. That is a bit of how I understand dwelling with God. It is a secret place of the most High, we get to rest in His shadow.
It is my aim and desire through photography to bring glory to God. The journey that brought me here started with a Canon AE-1, my first "real" camera. Prior to that I was using instamatics from Kodak and any other camera I was able to get my hands on. I had taken the AE-1 from my Dad after seeing some pictures he had taken. My parents encouraged this new hobby by enrolling me, while I was still in High School, in a college photography course. That Christmas they bought me a new Canon AE-1P, this time it was programmable! This led to majoring in photography at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I started out in Photojournalism, but soon realized I was drawn more to the artistic aspects of photography. After University I was able to...
