Description
This beautiful castle rests along the Rhein River in Bacharach, Germany. It is now a Jugendherberge or Youth Hostel that can be a stop over for visitors to this region, it is also available for families to stay at. It was built in the 12th century and it's name means: "impregnable castle on a crag". One of my favorite castles when I would drive along the Rhein or take guests on one of the local boat tours.
